A retractable lead marketed as extreme is usually solving one specific complaint about the standard version — in this case, a tape that a strong or excitable dog can actually damage.
This is flexi's Xtreme range, built around a reinforced X11 tape designed to be more bite resistant than the standard tape used in flexi's other models. An elastic soft-stop element is built into the leash to absorb a sudden lunge, on top of the usual braking system.
