Full description
A retractable lead small enough to fit in a pocket is a genuinely different proposition to the bigger models — it's the one you'd actually carry as a backup, not just the one you clip on at the start of a walk.
This is the XS size in flexi's New Classic Tape range, a 3m lead in a pocket-format casing, rated for dogs, cats and other small animals up to 12kg. It shares the same braking system as the rest of the range, just scaled down.
- 3m tape leash
- Pocket-format casing
- For dogs, cats and other small animals up to 12kg
- Available in black, blue, red or pink
- Comfortable braking system
- Product weight approximately 110g
One thing worth knowing. This is flexi's smallest tape model, rated only to 12kg and explicitly for small animals generally, not just small dogs — check the weight rating carefully if you're buying for a dog close to that limit, since the casing itself is built light rather than heavy-duty.
Who it's for: an owner of a genuinely small dog, cat or other small animal up to 12kg who wants a compact, pocket-sized lead rather than a bulkier model.

Why we chose it
The pocket format is a real feature here, not just a small size — light enough at around 110g to carry as a spare without noticing the weight. Being rated for cats and other small animals as well as dogs makes it a genuinely versatile small-pet lead.
