Full description
The smallest retractable leads aren't just a scaled-down version of a bigger one - they're built to be genuinely pocket-sized, which matters if you're the one carrying it on a lead that's mostly staying short anyway.
This is flexi's XS Classic cord lead: a compact, pocket-format case housing 3 metres of cord, rated for dogs, cats and other small animals up to 8kg, with a chromed snap hook and the same braking system used across the range.
- 3m cord lead
- For dogs, cats and other small animals up to max. 8kg
- Pocket-format case
- Comfortable braking system
- Chromed snap hook
- Available in black, blue or red
One thing worth knowing. At 8kg this is flexi's smallest weight rating in the range, and the case is genuinely compact to match - it isn't a scaled-down version of the medium or large models, so it won't take the strain a bigger dog would put on a bigger case.
Who it's for: owners of small dogs, cats on a lead, or other small pets under 8kg who want something compact enough to carry in a pocket between uses.

Why we chose it
The pocket-format case is the actual selling point on this size - it's genuinely small enough to carry rather than just a smaller number on the weight label. For a small dog or a cat that's occasionally walked on a lead, that size difference matters.
