Size guide & how to measure
A good bed lets your dog stretch out and curl up. Measure your dog nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.
How to measure
- Measure your dog from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
- Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
- For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.
| Size | Typical internal length | Rough guide |
|---|---|---|
| S | up to ~50 cm | toy & small breeds |
| M | ~50–70 cm | Small–medium dogs |
| L | ~70–90 cm | Medium–large dogs |
| XL | 90 cm + | Large & giant breeds |
Ranges are approximate and vary by style. Always check this product’s Specifications for its exact dimensions.
Full description
Most dog beds are designed to hide in a corner; this one is built to sit in the middle of a room without looking like a dog bed at all. That's a different design brief, and it shows in the choice of a neutral linen rather than the usual synthetic plush.
The Dubex Nordic Dog Bed is made from breathable, lightly textured linen, finished in a soft greige tone Dubex describe as a blend of grey and beige with a subtle pattern. The cover comes off and goes in the wash, and the bed itself is filled with plush cushioning underneath the linen exterior. It's available in more than one size.
- Breathable, lightly textured linen exterior
- Removable, washable cover
- Filled with plush cushioning
- Soft greige (grey/beige) tone with a subtle pattern
- Available in more than one size
One thing worth knowing. We haven't been given the bed's dimensions for any size, including this one, so there's nothing here to measure your dog or your space against before ordering - go by the size name rather than a stated cm figure, and check with us if you're unsure which size your dog needs.
Who it's for: owners who want a dog bed that fits a home's decor rather than standing out against it, and who don't mind machine-washing a cover to keep it looking that way.

Why we chose it
A neutral linen bed is genuinely rare in this price range, where most beds default to a bold pattern or a single primary colour. A washable cover also matters more on a light colour like this than it would on a dark one, since marks show up faster.
