Noise phobia is not a dog being dramatic. A firework at close range is genuinely uncomfortable to an animal that hears far higher frequencies than we do, and the panic that follows is a response to that discomfort and to having no idea where the bang came from. Anything that takes the top off the volume gives a frightened dog a chance to settle rather than escalate.

Be honest about what this does. It reduces noise; it does not soundproof, and it will not resolve a severe firework phobia on its own.
