Full description
A tug toy made of solid rubber rather than rope survives a lot more washing-machine-free mud than a fabric one does, which is most of the case for buying one.
The Rubber V Tug is a solid rubber toy from Classic Pet Products' rubber dog toy range, made in a V shape and measuring 150mm. Classic's own guidance is that supervised play is recommended, and that the toy should be replaced once it's worn or damaged rather than treated as indestructible.
- Category: Dog Toys, Rubber & TPR
- Brand: Classic
- Size: 150mm
- Solid rubber construction
- Available in red, purple or blue
- Supervised play recommended
On weight. The weight figure on the listing for this toy looks out of line with a 150mm solid rubber tug, so we haven't repeated it here — treat the 150mm size as the reliable figure rather than any weight quoted for it.
Who it's for: dogs that tug hard and go through fabric toys quickly, and owners who want something that survives being left out in the garden.

Why we chose it
Solid rubber holds up to weather and rough tugging in a way that rope and canvas don't. Classic's honest "replace when worn" guidance is worth passing straight on rather than glossing over.
