A tank ornament has two jobs beyond looking right — giving fish somewhere to hide, and not leaching anything into the water while it does — and a well-made resin piece is judged on both, not just the one you can see.

This Classic Rocky Ledge is part of the Classic Aquatics range of polyresin ornaments, hand made and hand painted using non-toxic paints. It's finished with soft, ferny plants that move with the water current, and the rocky outcrop shape doubles as a hiding cave for fish. Overall it measures L325 x W130 x H155mm, and it's also suited to decorating a terrarium.

What's not stated. There's no weight or exact material composition beyond "polyresin" given on this listing, so we can't confirm how it sits in a smaller tank without checking the dimensions above against your own setup first.

Who it's for: aquarium and terrarium keepers wanting a decorative hiding spot with some texture and movement to it, rather than a plain rock or plastic cave.
