Full description

Wood pellet litter works on a different principle to clumping clay — it doesn't form clumps at all, it swells and softens as it absorbs, which is why the tray needs shaking rather than scooping to bring fresh pellets back to the surface.

These are made from virgin softwood and sold as FSC-certified, so the timber is from a certified source rather than an unspecified mix. CJ's sell the range in two sizes: 15L and 30L. The manufacturer's own routine is to remove any solids and give the tray a shake to surface fresh pellets, and once spent, the pellets can go into general household waste or onto a compost heap.
