A parrot given a big bowl of mixed seed will often eat its favourites first and leave the rest, which is the standing criticism of seed-only diets — worth knowing before it becomes the only thing your bird eats.

This mix combines striped and white sunflower seeds, whole maize, whole oats, small dark striped sunflower seeds, safflower seeds, redskin peanuts, black sunflower seeds, mung beans, hempseed, peanuts in shell, yellow biscuit, papaya, banana chips and chillies — a broad variety by design, aimed at a wide range of parrot species.
