Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.

Full description

The single most important thing about a cat collar is that it comes off when it has to. Cats climb, squeeze through gaps and hook themselves on branches and fence wire, and a collar that holds fast in that moment is a genuine danger rather than an inconvenience. A breakaway buckle releases under sustained pressure, which is why we will not stock a cat collar without one, however good the print looks.

The buckle here is zinc alloy and engravable, so a name and number can go directly onto the hardware. The strap is printed polyester, 1.0cm wide, adjusting anywhere between 19 and 30cm, with a metal D-ring for a tag and a decorative bell that clips off if your cat or your household would rather do without the jingling. Five prints are listed, from small blue florals to a green and brown grid.
