Specifications

Brand: Bob Martin

Full description

Rabbits and guinea pigs groom fastidiously, but that doesn't stop fleas, ticks or mites getting a foothold, and a small pet can't tell you it's started scratching more than usual.

This is a spot-on treatment for small animals — rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and other small rodents — giving four weeks of protection against flies, fleas, ticks, lice and mites in one application. It comes as a single treatment rather than a multi-pack.

Spot-on application
Four weeks' protection per treatment
Protects against flies, fleas, ticks, lice and mites
For rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and other small rodents
Sold as a single treatment

What's not on the card. Bob Martin haven't given us a minimum age or weight for use, or the active ingredient, on the information passed to us — check the packaging itself before applying, and speak to a vet first if you're unsure about a young or underweight animal.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs or other small rodents wanting routine parasite protection between check-ups, rather than a treatment for an animal already showing signs of a problem.

Why we chose it

Four weeks in one application is a sensible interval to actually remember, rather than something weekly that gets forgotten. It's sold as a single treatment, so it's a low-commitment way to try it before buying a multi-pack. We'd point anyone with a small pet already scratching or losing fur toward a vet rather than reaching for this alone.
