Full description

A smaller knuckle bone suits exactly the dogs the 10-inch version does not, and having both sizes in the same shape means a customer isn't choosing between a shape they want and a size that fits.

This is the 8-inch version of the Bestpets rawhide knuckle bone, sold individually (the price shown is for one chew), with the same analytical panel as the rest of the range: over 71% protein, under 2.2% fat, under 0.5% fibre and under 1% ash.

What the label does not say. No minimum age, feeding frequency or weight-per-piece figure is published for this range. The same knuckle shape is also available at 10 inches for a larger dog.

Who it's for: owners of a smaller or medium dog for whom the 10-inch knuckle is more chew than needed.

Why we chose it

It is the same knuckle shape at a size that actually suits smaller dogs, rather than making everyone buy the largest option by default. Ten to a pack keeps it economical for a household that gets through chews regularly.
