Brand: Animology

Full description

An ear that's never cleaned builds up wax until it becomes the kind of problem that needs a vet rather than a bottle, which is the case for keeping on top of it with something simple and regular.

This is a gentle cleansing solution formulated for all dog breeds, designed to help soften and loosen wax, dirt and other debris, reducing the risk of ear infections. Add a few drops into the ear and gently massage to distribute it, then wipe the ear with a cotton wool ball or soft cloth, repeating as necessary.

50ML bottle
Formulated for all dog breeds
Softens and loosens wax, dirt and debris
Aimed at reducing the risk of ear infections

What's not stated. Animology don't give a frequency of use or an age restriction on this bottle, unlike some of their other ear products, so if you need specific dosing guidance, check with a vet rather than guessing at how often to use it.

Who it's for: owners of dogs of any breed who want a simple, everyday ear cleaner as part of a regular grooming routine.

Animology Essentials Ear Cleaner

Why we chose it

This is a genuinely everyday, all-breed formula rather than a specialist one, which makes it the easiest ear cleaner to recommend to a first-time buyer. It's a smaller bottle than some of the range, so it's a lower-commitment purchase to try.
