A five-litre bottle is a two-handed object, and disinfectant poured by eye from one is either wasted or diluted wrong. A pump takes the judgement out of it, because you press once and get the same measured dose every time, with the bottle standing still on the floor.

The dispenser secures directly onto a 5L ANIGENE bottle and delivers 10ml per press, which makes the dilution arithmetic exact rather than approximate. Count the presses and you know precisely what has gone into the bucket. It is moulded from 30 per cent recycled plastic, and it can be recycled itself at the end of its life, though it is worth checking what your local authority actually accepts before it goes in the bin.

One thing to check. This is the pump and not the disinfectant, and it is designed around the ANIGENE 5L bottle neck.
