A cat that hides to sleep isn't being unfriendly, it's doing what a den animal does when it wants to switch off completely — walls on three sides and no view of the room. An open cushion doesn't offer that; an enclosed shape does.
This bed is built around that shape: a sherpa fleece outer that's meant to hold the cat's own scent, wrapped around a soft, supportive inner cushion filled with recycled fibre, in a cave form rather than a flat pad. It measures 45 x 40cm.
