Full description
Tartan on a dog lead is either a genuine nod to Scottish tradition or simply a pattern that photographs well against green fields - either way, it's one of the few prints that doesn't look out of place on countryside walking gear.
This is a 1m lead in printed polyester and nylon strapping, offered here in blue or red, with a sturdy trigger hook and a matching collar available separately.
- 1m length, 19mm width
- Printed polyester over nylon strapping
- Available in blue or red
- Sturdy trigger hook
- Matching Indulgence Fashion Tartan Collar available separately
On the range: Ancol also make this lead in a third tartan colourway - mulberry purple with green - which isn't part of this particular listing, so if that's the one you want, it's a separate purchase.
Who it's for: owners who want a patterned, countryside-styled lead in a classic blue or red tartan, with the option to match it to the same-print collar.

Why we chose it
Nylon strapping under a printed finish means it still holds up as a working lead rather than just a decorative one, which is the balance a fashion lead has to strike. Blue and red are also the two more classic tartan tones, next to the third, more unusual purple option Ancol sell separately.
