Full description
A wide-toothed comb or slicker does the heavy lifting on a tangled coat, but it's a fine comb that actually finishes the job — smoothing what's left once the bigger knots are already out.
This comb has medical-quality stainless steel pins, rounded at the ends, with a fine-toothed design suited to both short and long-haired cats, particularly useful once a coat has already been detangled with a wider comb or slicker.
- Fine-toothed design
- Medical-quality stainless steel pins
- Rounded ends for comfort
- Suits short and long-haired cats
- Best used after a wider comb or slicker
What the label does not say. the makers don't give a tooth spacing measurement, so "fine" is relative to the other combs in the range rather than an exact figure — go by its role as a finishing comb rather than a first pass on a tangled coat.
Who it's for: owners finishing off a grooming session after using a wider comb or slicker, rather than starting from a fully tangled coat.

Why we chose it
A fine comb genuinely does a different job to a wide one, and skipping straight to fine teeth on a tangled coat just means more time spent snagging. Used in the right order, it's what actually leaves the coat looking finished.
