Full description
A cat collar has one job that overrides all the others, which is coming off the moment it snags on something, and every other feature on this page assumes that one is working properly first.
Ancol's Vintage Bow collar is a luxury velvet collar in teal, finished with a patterned bow that's moveable and removable if you'd rather run it plain. It comes with a break-away buckle as standard, built to let a cat escape if the collar catches while climbing, and a warning bell to give wildlife a chance to hear it coming. It's sized to fit a 20-30cm neck.
- Luxury velvet collar in teal, with a removable, moveable bow
- Break-away buckle for a safe escape if caught
- Warning bell fitted as standard
- Fits a 20-30cm neck
- Sold singly
On fit. Ancol's own fitting guidance is to leave room for two fingers between the collar and your cat's neck, and to check it daily — a collar that fit at the two-finger test in a growing kitten will need rechecking as they grow. Ancol also say to remove it during a liquid flea treatment, to stop the treatment reacting with the collar's materials.
Who it's for: owners of an adult cat with a 20-30cm neck who want a decorative collar that still carries proper safety features, rather than a bow with no break-away buckle behind it.

Why we chose it
A break-away buckle and a bell as standard is not a given on a collar that looks this decorative, and it's the reason we'd put this ahead of a plainer bow collar with no safety features at all. Three to a pack also means a lost or worn collar doesn't mean an empty drawer.
