Full description
A lead's handle is the part actually gripped for the whole walk, which is why a strip of neoprene lining there does more for comfort than anything printed on the clip.
This is Ancol's Air Hold lead: nylon construction with a neoprene-lined handle for a softer grip, a satin-finish metal trigger hook, and a durable, weather-proof build. It measures 1.8m x 25mm and Ancol give it a recommended maximum weight of 75kg.
- Nylon lead with neoprene-lined handle
- 1.8m long, 25mm wide
- Satin-finish metal trigger hook
- Recommended maximum weight 75kg
- Weather-proof construction
On the maximum weight. 75kg is Ancol's own maximum recommended weight, so it is worth checking your dog's actual weight against it rather than assuming any nylon lead this width will hold a very large or a very strong-pulling dog safely. Matching collars are sold separately in the same colours.
Who it's for: owners wanting a comfortable, padded-handle lead for everyday walking, for dogs up to Ancol's stated 75kg maximum.

Why we chose it
The neoprene-lined handle is the actual reason to pick this over a plain nylon lead at a similar price — a long walk on a hard-pulling dog is noticeably easier on the hand with it than without. 1.8m is also a practical length for everyday walking rather than a short training lead.
