What TetraMin is for

As with any flake food, the amount to feed depends on your tank size, the number and type of fish, and how much uneaten food is left after a few minutes, rather than a fixed measure that suits every setup. Keeping flake food in good condition
Flake food loses some of its nutritional value once the tub has been open a while, particularly if it is stored somewhere warm or damp, so keeping the lid tightly closed between feeds and storing it away from direct heat helps it last as long as the tub suggests it should.
Buying a size of tub that your tank will get through in a reasonable time is worth thinking about too, since a small tank getting through a large tub very slowly is more likely to be feeding on flakes that have been open for months than one matched to actual daily use.
