Full description

Two chews can share almost the same base recipe and still be sold under different names, with only a trace of flavouring actually changing between them.

These are rawhide-free chew rolls built on chicken fillet at 31% — the same substantial base as Zeus's plain Chicken Large Rolls — with mint powder (0.03%) and lamb flavour (0.1%) added on top.

4-pack of large rolls
Chicken fillet 31%

Crude protein 13.8%, crude fat 3.2%, moisture 9.7%
Rawhide free

On the name. The chicken content here is genuinely high at 31%, on a par with Zeus's plain Chicken Large Rolls — but lamb is present only as a flavouring at 0.1%. If you're buying specifically for a lamb-based treat, this isn't one; it's a chicken chew with a lamb-flavoured finish.

Who it's for: owners wanting a substantial chicken-based chew with a milder mint and lamb flavour twist, for a dog with no chicken sensitivity.

Zeus Bones Lamb & Mint Large Rolls

Why we chose it

The chicken content matches Zeus's honestly-named chicken chews, so you're not losing out on meat content by choosing the flavoured version — you're just getting a different taste on the same base. We'd rather explain that than let the name imply something else.
