On the ingredients. Tea tree oil is a genuinely well-known ingredient for soothing and cooling properties, but it can be a sensitiser for some animals in higher concentrations - if your dog has a known sensitivity to tea tree specifically, this isn't the shampoo to reach for regardless of how gentle the rest of the formula is.
