Specifications

Care: DOG GROOMING > DOG NAIL CLIPPERS
Brand: Wahl

Full description

A rough nail edge and an overlong nail are related jobs, but they are not quite the same job. A grinder can shape and smooth as it files, which is the reason to consider this kit when comparing it with a pair of nail clippers.

Wahl supplies the battery-operated grinder with a safety cap, sanding drums and sanding bands. It is described for small and large dogs and for trimming, shaping and smoothing nails. The instruction booklet is included, so the kit brings its operating guidance with the tool rather than leaving the owner to work from the listing alone.

Battery-operated pet nail grinder
Safety cap included
2 large sanding drums
5 sanding bands
Instruction booklet included
Described as suitable for small and large dogs

Batteries are separate: they are not included, and the supplied product information does not state their size or the grinder's runtime. It also gives no noise measurement. Read the enclosed instructions before using the tool rather than assuming a pet will accept a powered grinder immediately.

Who it's for: dog owners looking for a filing tool to trim, shape or smooth nails, with spare sanding surfaces in the starter kit. If battery type or operating noise is the deciding factor, those details still need confirming.

Wahl Pet Battery Nail Grinder

Why we chose it

The included sanding drums and bands make the contents of this starter kit clear. Battery operation is useful to know at the point of choosing, but so is the fact that the batteries themselves are not in the box.
