Specifications

Brand: Vitakraft
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A budgie in the wild strips seed husks off grass stems for hours, and a cage bird eating from a dish loses that outlet almost entirely — a Kracker on a stick is built to give some of that back, rather than being a soft treat in a different shape.

Each stick is baked three times onto a natural wooden stick and includes egg as an ingredient, alongside the usual seed base. This pack contains two sticks. Vitakraft's instruction is to keep one available in the cage permanently rather than handing it out as an occasional treat.

2 sticks per pack
Contains egg
Baked three times onto a natural wooden stick
Designed to be left in the cage continuously

On the treat status. This is a complementary product, not a complete food, so it shouldn't replace a budgie's normal seed or pellet mix. Vitakraft don't publish a fuller ingredient breakdown beyond noting the added egg, so there's nothing more specific here to check against a sensitivity.

Who it's for: budgie owners who want a permanent cage treat with egg included, rather than a plain seed-only stick.

Vitakraft Budgie Stick Egg 60g

Why we chose it

Egg as a named ingredient is a genuine point of difference from a plain seed Kracker, and it's the reason to reach for this one specifically. It's built to sit in the cage rather than be handed out, so it's a low-effort addition to the routine.
