A dog bed that slides across a hard floor every time it lies down or gets up is a bed that stops getting used properly, which is why the backing under a mat-style bed matters as much as the material on top of it.

Vetbed's Non Slip mat in charcoal with a black and white paw print is made from 95% recycled content, described as warm, safe and comfortable, with a ribbed anti-slip backing built for laminate and tiled flooring. It's machine washable at 40°C and quick to dry, and Vetbed say it can be used anywhere — crates, the car, around the home. It measures 100 x 75cm.

On the recommendation claim. Vetbed describe the mat as recommended by vets, breeders and pet care professionals — that's their own marketing claim rather than a certification we've verified, so treat it as a reputation the brand has built over time rather than an endorsement attached to this specific mat.

Who it's for: owners with a hard floor — laminate, tile, vinyl — wanting a crate mat or car liner that stays put rather than bunching or sliding.
