Product description
Small baked bites built on potato flakes, made for rats and mice. Rats in particular are clever enough to be trained, and a treat this size is the right currency for it: small enough to give several in a session without overfeeding.
The recipe is four ingredients, wheat flour, soya oil, sugar and potato flakes, with colourants. It is the plainest thing in the range, with no fruit and no added vegetable.
- Four ingredients: wheat flour, soya oil, sugar, potato flakes
- Made for rats and mice; also suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters and gerbils
- One or two a day, hand-fed or hidden around the enclosure
- A complementary treat, fed alongside a proper daily diet
There is no fruit or vegetable in this one. It is the only treat in the range where the flavour is potato and starch rather than something that grew on a plant, which makes it plain in a useful way if you are managing what a pet eats, and unremarkable if you were hoping for carrot. The brand's own feeding rate of one or two a day still applies.
Who it's for: rat and mouse owners, particularly anyone doing training or handling work that needs a small, repeatable reward.
Why we chose it
The rat and mouse shelf is thin, and most of what is on it is a rabbit treat with a different picture on the box. This one is made for them, it is small enough to use for training, and the four-ingredient recipe is easy to check.
