A pet terrapin or turtle spends a lot of its life doing very little, which makes what goes in its mouth one of the few variables an owner can actually manage for shell and bone health. Tetra ReptoMin is built around that: a stick-form food with crude protein at 39%, aimed specifically at water turtles rather than fish or amphibians generally.

The recipe also carries calcium at 3.3% and phosphorus at 1.2% — a calcium-forward ratio that Tetra say promotes healthy shell and bone development — alongside crude oils and fats at 4.5%, crude fibre at 2%, and moisture at 9%. Tetra's feeding guidance is several small portions a day rather than one large one, and the sticks float, so turtles feed at the surface.
