Full description
Given a bowl with several different textures in it, a rabbit will often eat its favourites first and leave the rest — the long-standing criticism of muesli-style mixes, and worth knowing before buying a 12.5kg sack of one.
This is an extruded and flaked muesli mix rather than a uniform pellet: wheat, peas, maize, timothy hay and alfalfa meal, whole oats, soya bean hulls and extruded locust beans, fortified with added vitamins and trace minerals.
- 12.5KG sack
- Protein 14%, fibre 12%, fat 4%, ash 5%
- Calcium 0.6%, phosphorus 0.4%
- Contains wheat, oats and maize — not a grain-free mix
- Fortified with vitamins A, D3 and E plus trace minerals
- Supreme describe it as suitable for rabbits of all ages
On grain-free. This is not a grain-free mix — wheat, oats and maize all appear, whole and flaked, alongside soya bean hulls and soya oil, and the pack may contain traces of nuts. If a rabbit in the same household needs to avoid cereals for any reason, this isn't the bag to share between them.
Who it's for: owners of rabbits with no specific grain intolerance, who want one large sack rather than replacing small bags every few weeks — and who offer unlimited hay alongside it, which Supreme's own guidance treats as essential rather than optional.

Why we chose it
A 12.5kg sack makes sense if you keep more than one rabbit, or one that gets through food quickly — buying at this size costs less per kilo than the small bags do. It isn't grain-free, so it wouldn't be our pick for a rabbit that needs to avoid cereals, but for everyday feeding it's a straightforward, fortified mix.
