Full description

A gerbil in the wild forages through seed heads and roots rather than eating a uniform pellet, and a mixed muesli-style food gives a caged gerbil something closer to that variety, provided the mix is actually balanced rather than just varied.

The recipe opens with soya bean meal and extruded wheat, and includes flaked maize, whole oats, whole maize, flaked peas, alfalfa meal, pumpkin seeds, dried carrot flakes and linseed among others. Supreme's own guide is 5-10g a day for an average adult gerbil, alongside fresh water at all times.
