Full description

Chinchillas evolved eating tough, fibrous plant material in a dry mountain habitat, which is why fibre content matters more in their diet than it does for most small pets — too little and their digestion suffers.

Supreme's Charlie Chinchilla mix opens with extruded wheat and timothy hay, and includes alfalfa meal, flaked peas, flaked maize, soya bean hulls, soya bean meal, dried carrot flakes, linseed and soya oil. Their own feeding guide is 30-40g a day for an average adult chinchilla, alongside fresh vegetables, hay and water.
