Brand: Supa
Material: wire mesh

Full description

Not every garden needs a big feeder — a small space, or someone just starting to feed birds for the first time, is often better served by something modest than by a feeder built for a whole flock.

This is a compact, 7-inch wire mesh peanut feeder, easy to fill and maintain, and the smaller sibling to Supa's larger peanut feeders in the same material.

7" wire mesh peanut feeder
Designed for whole peanuts
Easy to fill and maintain
Popular with sparrows, among many other species

One thing worth knowing. At 7 inches this is Supa's smaller peanut feeder, so it will need refilling more often than the 12-inch version in the same wire mesh style — a sensible trade-off if you're feeding a small garden or just starting out, but worth knowing before you buy.

Who it's for: owners with a smaller garden or balcony, or anyone feeding birds for the first time who wants a modest, inexpensive feeder to start with.

7 inches.

Wire mesh.

Whole peanuts.

Will I need to refill it often?

More often than Supa's larger 12-inch feeder, given the smaller size, but that suits a smaller garden or lighter feeding needs.

Supa Wild Bird Feeder

Why we chose it

It's the lowest-cost way into feeding whole peanuts, which matters for someone who isn't yet sure how much a garden's birds will actually get through. Wire mesh holds up outdoors just as well as the bigger sizes.
