Supa Wild Bird Easy Fill Peanut Feeder

Filling a bird feeder from the top usually means peanuts scattering everywhere the moment the lid comes off, which is more of a nuisance than it should be for something you do every few days.

This feeder is filled from underneath instead: a unique access port at the base lets you load it without tipping the whole thing upside down, though Supa still recommend filling it over a box or bucket in case of spillage. The tube itself is a 1/4 inch galvanised mesh with plastic base and cap fittings, sized at approximately 4 inches (10cm) in diameter and roughly 8 inches long, holding approximately 900g of peanuts.

On the fill method. Filling from the base is neater day to day, but Supa's own advice is to do it over a container in case of spillage - so it isn't entirely mess-free, just less messy than a top-loading feeder.
