Specifications

Material: Green plastic coated 1" square mesh
Brand: Supa
Material: Green plastic coated 1" square mesh

Full description

Not everything worth putting out for garden birds comes in a neat pellet or seed form, and a mesh cage rather than a tube or port feeder is what actually copes with an irregular block or a handful of scraps.

This is a green plastic-coated, 1-inch square mesh feeder, built to take prepared fat cake blocks or double as a general scrap feeder.

Easy to clean

One thing worth knowing. Supa don't publish the cage's overall dimensions, so we can't confirm exactly what size of fat cake block fits it — check the block size against a standard cage feeder before buying if you already have blocks on hand.

Who it's for: anyone feeding fat cake blocks or kitchen scraps to garden birds who wants a simple mesh cage rather than a purpose-specific single-use feeder.

Supa Wild Bird Cake & Scrap Feeder

Why we chose it

Being able to double as either a fat cake feeder or a general scrap feeder means it earns its place even between fat cake deliveries. Plastic-coated mesh is easy to wipe clean, which matters for something holding scraps rather than dry seed.
