A squirrel raiding a bird feeder isn't doing anything wrong by its own logic — it's just found the easiest food in the garden. Supa's Metal Squirrel Feeder gives it somewhere else to go instead of fighting that instinct directly.

It's built from powder-coated metal for durability, with an easy-lift lid that keeps the food dry while a squirrel works out how to get at it. Supa suggest it either as a way to encourage squirrels into the garden deliberately, or as a diversion to keep them off your wild bird feeders.

• Powder-coated metal construction
• Easy-lift lid keeps food dry
• Works either to attract squirrels or divert them from bird feeders

One thing worth knowing. No capacity or dimension figure is given for this feeder — only the material and the lid mechanism. If you need to know exactly how much it holds before buying, that detail hasn't been supplied to us.

Who it's for: garden owners either wanting to feed visiting squirrels directly, or trying to keep them away from a wild bird feeder by giving them an easier option nearby.
