A drinker sat directly on the ground in a run gets kicked over, scratched into, and fouled far faster than one raised even a few inches up. Supa's Deluxe Heavy Duty Drinker is built to be lifted clear of that mess, whether it's stood on legs or hung up.

It's a gravity-fed drinker that works either ground-based or hanging, with an ergonomically designed carrying handle that doubles as a hanger. With the optional push-fit legs fitted, the reservoir sits 3in (75mm) above the ground.

• Reservoir raised 3in (75mm) with optional push-fit legs
• Heavy duty construction

One thing worth knowing. The push-fit legs that raise this drinker off the ground are described as optional, which suggests they may not always be included as standard — check the listing carefully if raising it off the ground is the reason you're buying it.

Who it's for: poultry and game bird keepers who want a drinker that can be hung to keep it clean, or raised on legs rather than sitting flat on the ground.
