Specifications

Brand: Supa

Full description

A single-port feeder means one bird at a time and a queue at the next, whereas a second port simply doubles how many birds can actually feed without squabbling over the same spot.

This is an 8 inch (20cm) seed feeder with two feeding ports, designed for garden birds and made in the UK. It can also be used for feeding sunflower hearts, and is supplied with either a short-sided or long-sided perch.

On maintenance: Supa's own guidance is to clean the feeder occasionally with warm water and a mild detergent or disinfectant solution, rinse thoroughly and let it air dry, to avoid a build-up of bacteria - which is worth building into a routine rather than only doing once it looks obviously dirty.

Who it's for: garden bird feeders who want more than one bird able to feed at once, and who are happy to keep to a basic cleaning routine.

Supa 2 Port Seed Feeder

Why we chose it

Two ports rather than one means less squabbling at the feeder and more birds actually getting fed, which is really the whole point of putting one up. Being made in the UK was also worth something to us, on a product this straightforward.
