Specifications

Brand: Small 'N' Furry

Full description

A treat shaped like something else is still just a treat, but a banana-shaped chew at least gives a rabbit a different angle to gnaw at before it's gone.

This is Small 'N' Furry's Minera'L' Banana, a 12cm edible chew for small animals - sized to be nibbled down rather than swallowed whole, and light enough to barely register in a parcel.

12cm long
Edible - designed to be eaten as it's chewed
Banana-shaped
For small animals: rabbits, guinea pigs and similar

On what we do not know: Small 'N' Furry don't publish an ingredient list, a mineral content, or a feeding frequency for this treat, so it's worth introducing gradually alongside your pet's usual hay and food rather than as a regular top-up in an amount we can't specify.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals who want an edible chew for teeth wear as well as boredom, rather than a purely inedible gnaw toy.

Why we chose it

It's a small, cheap treat doing two jobs at once - something to chew and something to eat - which makes it an easy add to a first order rather than something you plan a trip around. At 12cm it's sized in proportion for a rabbit or guinea pig, not the bigger chews made for dogs.
