Specifications

Brand: Small 'N' Furry

Full description

A rabbit's front teeth never stop growing, which is the reason a chew toy in a hutch is doing a job rather than just filling space.

This is Small 'N' Furry's Gnaw'T' Strawberry, a 5cm natural wooden chew with a fruit flavour, fitted with a hanger so it can be fixed inside a cage rather than left loose on the floor.

5cm chew
Natural wood, fruit-flavoured
Hanger for fixing to the cage
Designed to help wear teeth down

One thing worth knowing: Small 'N' Furry don't publish what the flavouring is made from or a use-by guideline, so if you notice it going soft or mouldy in a damp hutch, that's a sign to take it out rather than to keep offering it.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals whose teeth need regular wearing down, and who want a chew fixed in place rather than one that gets kicked into the bedding.

Why we chose it

A hanger means it stays where the animal can actually reach it, instead of ending up buried in the bedding within a day like a loose chew does. At 5cm and a low price, it's an easy top-up alongside a bigger order rather than a purchase on its own.
