On feeding alongside hay
This is a complete food, but Supreme's own guidance still assumes fresh vegetables, hay and water alongside it — the 60-70g figure is not meant to be the whole diet on its own, and hay should make up the bulk of what a rabbit eats regardless of what the bag says. Check with a vet if you are changing a rabbit's diet from a muesli mix, since a sudden switch can upset digestion.
Why we chose it
A nugget food is worth the switch on its own if your rabbit currently eats a muesli mix and leaves the pellets in the bowl — there's nothing to pick around here. The fibre figure at 22% is genuinely high for the category, which is what actually does the work on dental wear.

Full description
A rabbit's teeth never stop growing, and the single biggest reason a house rabbit ends up at the vet with dental trouble is a diet that does not make it chew enough. Supreme Science Selective's House Rabbit food is built around that problem: it is a nugget rather than a muesli, so a rabbit cannot pick out the tasty bits and leave the fibrous ones behind.
The recipe includes timothy hay, wheat, soya bean hulls, soya bean meal, dried grass, ground dried locust bean husks, flaked peas, linseed and dried thyme, with prebiotics (MOS) and yucca extract added. Crude protein is 14%, crude fibre 22%, crude oils and fats 4%, crude ash 5%, calcium 0.6% and phosphorus 0.4% — a fibre figure well above what a typical rabbit mix carries, which is the point of a "selective feeding"-proof nugget. Supreme's own feeding line says a typical adult rabbit weighing 2.5kg needs approximately 60-70g a day of this food, alongside fresh vegetables, hay and water.

Who it's for: owners of house rabbits who want a single-ingredient-per-bite nugget that cannot be picked through, rather than a mixed muesli a rabbit will select through and leave half uneaten.

Common questions
How much should I feed a 2.5kg rabbit?
Supreme's own guide says approximately 60-70g a day for a typical adult rabbit at that weight, alongside fresh vegetables, hay and water.
Is this a muesli or a nugget?
A nugget — every piece has the same composition, so a rabbit cannot selectively eat the tasty bits and leave the rest.
What is the fibre content?
Crude fibre is 22%, with crude protein at 14% and crude oils and fats at 4%.
Does it replace hay?
No. Supreme's feeding guidance still calls for fresh vegetables, hay and water alongside this food.
