There is no binder, no starch, no cereal and no sugar, which makes this one of the very few things in the small animal treat aisle that a rabbit on a strict diet can have daily without anyone having to think about it.

All three are ordinary British hedgerow and lawn plants, which is worth saying because it tells you what the treat is. Dandelion is bitter and mineral-rich and most rabbits go for it hard. Melissa is lemon balm, aromatic and the reason the bag smells the way it does. Plantain is the broad-leaved weed from every path edge, high in fibre and generally the last thing eaten. Dandelion is a diuretic and is high in calcium, and both matter for some rabbits. Rosewood describe the mix as having soothing and diuretic effects, which is a real property and not just packaging language. Rabbits with a history of bladder sludge or urinary stones are usually kept away from high-calcium greens, so this is one to raise with your vet first rather than assume is harmless because it is just herbs.
