Full description

A food bowl in a hutch gets knocked, chewed and stood in more than almost anything else an owner buys, which is generally the argument for stainless steel over anything a determined rabbit could get its teeth through.

This is Classic's Posh Paws bunny dish, made from heavy-gauge stainless steel with a fused-on rubber non-slip rim and an enamel-finished design. It holds 350ml, measures 125mm across and 45mm deep, and is dishwasher safe. Stainless steel does not absorb food odours the way some plastics do, which is part of why Classic use it across their range.

Capacity: 350ml

On the design. Classic describe the Posh Paws range as coming in assorted colours including orange, white and natural, but this listing does not confirm which finish this particular dish arrives in - so treat the colour as a surprise rather than a guarantee if that matters to you.

Who it's for: rabbit and guinea pig owners who want a bowl that will survive being chewed, knocked over and dishwashed weekly without corroding or holding onto old food smells.

Why we chose it

A non-slip rim is the detail that actually matters on a small feeding dish, because a light bowl skidding across a hutch floor is how food ends up in the bedding instead of the animal. Stainless steel that's dishwasher safe is also just less hassle than scrubbing a plastic bowl by hand.
