A rabbit or guinea pig that can't get to clean water fast enough will simply drink less, which is a slower and easier problem to miss than an empty bowl — and it's the reason a leak-proof bottle matters more than almost anything else in a hutch.

Classic's Crystal Deluxe bottles have been made in the UK since 1975, with a stainless steel spout, a twin-ball non-leak valve and a gnaw-resistant cap assembly designed to mimic natural feeding. The bottle body is shatter-resistant in cold weather and capacity-graduated so you can see how much is left, the material is recyclable, and a fixing wire is included. This listing covers four sizes — Small, Midi, Large and Giant.

• Made in the UK since 1975
• Stainless steel spout, twin-ball non-leak design
• Gnaw-resistant cap assembly, capacity-graduated body
• Shatter resistant in cold weather
• Recyclable bottle material; fixing wire included
• Four sizes: Small, Midi, Large, Giant

On sizing. Classic only give us a capacity for the Giant, at 1100ml, which their own text describes as suitable for large-breed rabbits, parrots, puppies and other larger caged pets. No capacity or suitability is published here for the Small, Midi or Large versions, so if you need a specific size of animal matched to a specific size of bottle, go by the name on the option you're choosing rather than anything else in this description.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs, birds or puppies kept in a hutch or cage who want a leak-proof bottle rather than an open bowl that fouls easily — picking the size against the animal it's for.
