Full description

A dog's paws touch everything a walk goes through before they touch your sofa, and cleaning them at the door is the easier habit to build than the alternative — scrubbing mud out of the cushions afterwards.

This is a paw cleaner in a 5oz size, filed under skin, coat and paw care for dogs and cats. The makers have not given us an ingredient list, or told us whether it needs rinsing off after use.

5oz size
Paw cleaner, not a balm or treatment
Listed for dogs and cats
Filed under skin, coat and paw care
No ingredient list supplied

What the label does not say. We don't have an ingredient list for this cleaner, nor confirmation of whether it's a rinse-off or leave-on product, or exactly what "Fresh" refers to beyond the product name. If your dog's paws are sore or broken rather than just dirty, that's a job for a vet, not a cleaner.

Who it's for: owners who want to wipe a dog or cat's paws clean at the door after a walk, before mud and grit make it any further into the house.

Why we chose it

Cleaning paws at the door is a habit that saves a lot more cleaning elsewhere in the house, and a dedicated cleaner is a quicker job than a bowl of water and a towel every time. It covers both dogs and cats, so it's one bottle for the whole household.
