Specifications

Brand: Pest Stop

Full description

A fly problem in the home doesn't need chemicals to solve it, which is the whole case for a sticky-paper trap that's stayed essentially unchanged for decades — it works by contact, not by spraying anything into the air.

Each tube untwists into a hanging strip, put up using the drawing pin and hanging loop provided, and works simply by catching flies that land on it. Pest Stop rate each tube as able to catch up to 100 flies, and this pack contains four of them.

Pack of 4 tubes
Drawing pin and hanging loop provided with each
Each tube can catch up to 100 flies
Non-toxic
Pack measures 90mm (H) x 90mm (W) x 25mm (D)

One thing worth knowing. This is a sticky contact trap, not an insecticide — it does nothing for flies that never land on it, and Pest Stop don't give a figure for how long one tube lasts once hung, only how many flies it can hold before it's full.

Who it's for: households wanting a chemical-free way to cut down flies indoors, without spraying anything into the air.

Why we chose it

It's the option for anyone who'd rather not spray an insecticide indoors, and the fact it's stayed the same simple design for years is a point in its favour rather than against it. Four tubes in a pack means you're not down to your last one after a single bad week.
