A rabbit's gut is built to process near-constant fibre, not the occasional treat, which is why hay rather than pellets is meant to make up the bulk of the diet — and the plainer the hay, the closer it is to what that gut actually evolved to handle.

Oxbow's Western Timothy is 100% Timothy hay, with no other ingredients added — it's preservative and additive free. As loose hay it naturally contains a mix of stems, leaves and a limited amount of seed heads rather than being a uniform, processed product.
