Small animals fed the same hay every day can get selective about it, picking through for the bits they like and leaving the rest — Oxbow's answer is to blend two hay varieties together from the outset, so there's more than one taste and texture in every handful.

This is a blend of Oxbow's timothy grass and orchard grass, hand-selected and hand-sorted. Crude protein is a minimum 7.00%, crude fat a minimum 1.50%, crude fibre a maximum 32.00% and moisture a maximum 15.00% — a high-fibre figure typical of a grass hay meant to be fed without limit.

• 1.1kg bag
• Blend of timothy grass and orchard grass
• Hand-selected and hand-sorted
• Crude protein (min) 7.00%, crude fibre (max) 32.00%
• Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals that need unlimited grass hay

What the label does not say. Oxbow don't give a daily amount because grass hay like this is meant to be available to your animal without limit, not measured out — the actual guidance is unlimited access, topped up as it's eaten rather than portioned by weight.

Who it's for: owners of a rabbit, guinea pig or other hay-dependent small animal who wants variety in the hay itself, especially a fussier animal that picks through a single-variety bag.
