Full description

Adding a hide to an enclosure is also a question of how the animal gets to it. A shelter with a bridge takes up a different sort of space from a house sitting on the floor, so the overall dimensions deserve a look before the novelty does.

Happy Pet's Nature First Hammock Hideaway combines coconut with natural rope. The supplied description includes a ladder or rope bridge leading to the sheltered section and names hamsters, gerbils and mice as intended users. Its approximate overall size is 72 x 11 x 11cm.

Overall size is not entrance size. The supplied measurements do not state the opening diameter or the internal space inside the coconut. Nature First Hammock Hideaway

Why we chose it

The bridge and hide make this a different layout choice from a plain house. I would compare its overall footprint first, then confirm the opening suits the animal rather than rely on a broad small-pet label.
