Specifications

Brand: Classic

Full description

Indoor small pets get handled from wherever the door happens to be, and a cage with a single small door makes daily lifting and cleaning harder than it needs to be.

This is Classic's Rabbit 100 cage: a black indoor hutch with two ways in, a large top-opening door and a separate drop-down front door, over a base tray. Bar spacing is 2.5cm.

Measures L100 x W54 x H45cm
Top door: 34cm (H) x 58cm (W)
Front door: 17cm (H) x 21cm (W)
Bar spacing 2.5cm
Two securing clips and two hayracks included
Suitable for rabbits and guinea pigs

On what's not measured. Classic don't publish a weight limit, or how many rabbits or guinea pigs the cage is meant to house together — with two doors of 21 x 17cm and 58 x 34cm, judge by whether your animal (and your hand) fit through comfortably, not by the box alone.

Who it's for: owners of a single rabbit or guinea pig who want an indoor cage they can reach into from the top for daily handling and from the front for a full clean-out.

Why we chose it

Two doors of very different sizes is the detail worth noting — the front one is small at 17 x 21cm, so it's the top door you'll use for lifting an animal in and out day to day. It's a straightforward option for one indoor pet rather than a multi-animal setup.
