Foraging is the behaviour a lot of small-animal enclosures don't leave room for, and a tray designed to be picked through rather than eaten in one go puts some of that back.

This tray combines meadow grass with a wide mix of dried flowers — marigold, hibiscus, blue cornflowers, rose, pink cornflowers and blue mallow — meant to be fed as sold and grazed over time rather than finished immediately. It analyses at 12% crude protein, 2% crude oils, 18% crude fibre and 3% crude ash.

• Meadow grass with marigold, hibiscus, blue and pink cornflowers, rose and blue mallow flowers
• Crude protein 12%, crude oils 2%, crude fibre 18%, crude ash 3%
• Fed as sold; store in a cool, dry place once opened
• Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice and most small animals
• 70g tray

On fibre. At 18% crude fibre this sits higher than most other small-animal treats in the range, which suits the grazing, foraging use it's designed for — but it's still a treat rather than a hay replacement, so it shouldn't be relied on as the main source of fibre in the diet.

Who it's for: owners who want to add genuine foraging behaviour to a small animal's routine rather than just another bowl of pellets — particularly useful for animals kept in smaller enclosures with less to do.
