A small animal that's bored of plain pellets will often still go looking for something with a different shape and texture in it, which is most of the point of a forage-based treat over a seed mix.

These are made from meadow grass and Timothy hay, bound together with a plant-based binder, and topped with pea, chamomile, marigold, mint, parsley, dandelion, nettle and rose. Crude protein comes out at 9%, crude fibre at 21%, crude oils at 2% and crude ash at 3%. They're meant to be introduced gradually and fed as part of a balanced diet alongside hay, not as a replacement for it, and come as a pack of 3.

• Meadow grass and Timothy hay base, plant-based binder
• Topped with chamomile, marigold, mint, dandelion, nettle and rose
• Crude fibre 21%, crude protein 9%
• Introduce gradually to avoid digestive upset
• A supplement to hay, not a replacement for it
• Pack of 3

Not a hay replacement. The crude fibre figure (21%) is well below what hay itself provides, and the card is explicit that this is part of a balanced diet rather than a substitute for hay. Feed it as a treat and forage enrichment, not as the main fibre source.

Who it's for: owners of rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice and other small animals wanting a forage treat with more texture and variety than plain hay, fed alongside it rather than instead of it.
